Konsep Insan Ideal dalam Pembentukan Sahsiah Pelajar di Universiti [The Ideal Human Concept in Shaping Student Character in University]

Abstract

Kajian ini meneliti konsep insan ideal melalui kerangka pembentukan akhlak Islamiyyah serta hubungannya dengan kursus Falsafah dan Isu Semasa (FIS) di institusi pengajian tinggi di Malaysia. Analisis dilakukan terhadap karya-karya pemikir Islam klasik dan kontemporari yang membincangkan konsep insan ideal termasuk pemikiran Ibn Arabi, al-Rumi, al-Ghazali, Ibn Miskawayh, Suhrawardi, Iqbal, Nasr, Gulen dan Bennabi. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis kandungan dengan menumpukan kepada dua aspek utama, iaitu kesepadanan dan kolerasi antara konsep insan ideal dengan komponen pengajaran kursus FIS. Hasil kajian menunjukkan wujudnya kesepadanan nilai dan kolerasi idea antara lima prinsip utama insan ideal dengan modul pengajaran FIS, iaitu Pertama; dimensi falsafah, Kedua; etika dan moral, Ketiga; agama, nilai dan kepelbagaian budaya, Keempat; isu kemanusiaan dan globalisasi, Kelima; pemikiran kritis dan analisis isu semasa. Wujud kesepaduan antara konsep insan ideal dan kursus Falsafah dan Isu Semasa (FIS) yang memperlihatkan keseimbangan antara iman dan akal, integriti moral, toleransi budaya, tanggungjawab kemanusiaan serta kecerdasan intelektual melalui pengukuhan pengalaman pembelajaran dalam kursus ini. Implikasi kajian menegaskan peranan kursus ini sebagai wahana strategik dalam membentuk sahsiah belia yang seimbang dan berdaya tahan dalam mendepani cabaran globalisasi era kini. Kajian ini diharap dapat memperkukuh pendidikan nilai dan moral di institusi pengajian tinggi serta menjadi rujukan dalam penggubalan kurikulum berasaskan insan sejahtera.   

This study explores the concept of the ideal human through the framework of akhlak Islamiyyah and its connection with the Philosophy and Contemporary Issues course in Malaysian higher education. The analysis focuses on classical and contemporary Islamic thinkers who have explored the notion of the ideal human including Ibn ‘Arabi, al-Rumi, al-Ghazali, Ibn Miskawayh, Suhrawardi, Iqbal, Nasr, Gulen and Bennabi. The findings reveal a strong congruence of values and ideas between the five principal dimensions of the ideal human and the core modules of FIS, namely: First; philosophical and spiritual dimensions, Second; ethics and morality, Third; religion, values, and cultural diversity, Fourth; humanitarian and globalization issues, Fifth; critical thinking and contemporary issue analysis. There exists a harmony between the concept of the ideal human and the Philosophy and Contemporary Issues (FIS) course, which demonstrates a balance between faith and reason, moral integrity, cultural tolerance, humanitarian responsibility and intellectual competence through the enhancement of learning experiences within the course. The study underscores the role of FIS as a strategic platform for shaping well-balanced and resilient youth character capable of navigating the challenges of globalization. Furthermore, it is anticipated that this study will reinforce value-based Islamic education in higher learning institutions and serve as a reference for developing curricula founded on the principles of insan sejahtera (holistic human well-being).
